Anniversary countdown – Maritime look in a limited edition In 2025, Laco will be celebrating its 100th anniversary as a company.
During the countdown to that date, a limited „count up“ edition will be released each year, reflecting a significant aspect of the company‘s history. The first of these will be the Edition 95 in 2020, with just 95 models available. In the 1940s, not only was Laco one of the few producers of the famous pilot watches, it was also manufacturing official timepieces for the navy. In those days, pocket watches were still being used that needed to be able to withstand the extreme demands on the high seas. The Edition 95 combines maritime charm with the brand‘s hallmark standards of precision, resilience and functionality. Making this a worthy member in the long history of Laco navy watches. With its successful blend of functionality and sporty elegance, the Laco 95 is a reliable and stylish companion in every situation. Although the historical predecessor was made for use on the high seas, it also serves as an elegant business watch on land. The watch is presented with a colour-coordinated watch box, a certificate of authenticity and a limited edition pin all of which is exclusive to the watch.

With the EDITION 95 we are proud to present the first companion and are setting sail for an expedition through 100 years of eventful company history. An authentic navy watch in a contemporary design, highlighting our established expertise in the field of nautical timepieces. It combines maritime charm with the brand’s hallmark standards of precision, durability and functionality.
True to its name, the EDITION 95 is produced as a limited series of 95 pieces only. Together with the annual, also limited editions 96, 97, 98 and 99, it will authentically illustrate the history of our traditional watch making factory and can find its home port in 2025 for real Laco lovers in a distinguished collector’s presentation box.
SWISS MOVEMENT WITH A SIGNATURE FROM PFORZHEIM
With the Laco 98 calibre, the EDITION 95 is always precisely on course. The mechanical hand-wound movement is based on the tried and tested calibre ETA 6498.1 in the high-quality Elaboré version and is expertly modified and activated on site by the company’s experienced watchmakers.
The sapphire crystal in the screwed-in back shows off the distinctive decorations on the caseback perfectly. A dark brown leather watch strap with colour-matching stitching adds to its sporty, elegant look. The watch is presented with a color-coordinated watch box, a certificate of authenticity and a limited edition pin all of which is exclusive to the watch.
AUTHENTIC MARITIME LOOK WITH A MODERN TOUCH
With the Laco EDITION 95, we build on our historical expertise and present a timepiece worthy of the long tradition of our navy watches.
Inspired by the well-known nautical virtues, it is water-resistant to 100 metres, has a laterally knurled stainless steel case with a diameter of 42.5 millimetres and a large, dark blue dial with fine grain.
FUNCTIONALITY WITH SPORTY ELEGANT APPEAL
For intuitive readability, the Arabic numerals and hands are coated with intense blue luminescent superluminova. This allows the time to be seen in an instant, even at night or in poor visibility conditions.
With a successful blend of functionality and sporty elegance, EDITION 95 is a reliable and stylish companion in every situation. Although it was designed for use on the high seas, it also makes a remarkable impression on land as an attractive business watch
